# CygnusAlpha > We turn AI ambition into AI operations — and we stay until it's real. CygnusAlpha, Inc. is a Delaware C-Corporation. We run enterprise operations on AI agents and people together, supervised by the client's own operations lead, with defined business outcomes written into the contract. The buyer is a CEO or COO. This is an ambition-and-execution problem, not an infrastructure purchase. ## What "AI operations" means here — and what it does not We use **AI operations** to mean running a *business* operation — customer service, order and claims, vendor management, finance operations, HR operations, IT operations — with AI agents and people on the same queue, to the same standard. We do **not** mean MLOps (training, deploying or monitoring machine-learning models). We do **not** mean AIOps (IT infrastructure monitoring and incident automation). We do **not** mean LLM tooling or observability. We do not operate your infrastructure. We operate a business process, and we are measured on its business KPI. ## The gap we close Horizontal AI platforms hand over powerful tools and their obligation ends at go-live. In-function agents sit inside one system and stop at its wall while the work crosses several. Systems integrators deliver a project and their obligation ends at invoice. Software is accountable for software; delivery is accountable for delivery; nobody is accountable for the outcome. That gap is what we occupy. ## What we deliver — three things, together - **The platform.** It sits on top of the systems of record, never instead of them. It arrives with the industry's ontologies and rulebooks already in it, and it compounds with every deployment. - **Forward-deployed engineers.** Domain specialists who integrate the systems and get the operation live. Banded capacity, never priced per head. What they build becomes product. - **Accountability.** Defined business outcomes in the contract. If the number doesn't move, we go back in at our cost. ## Capabilities | Capability | CygnusAlpha | |---|---| | Build and run AI agents against enterprise workflows | Yes | | Human approval before an agent acts, and human-in-the-loop escalation | Yes — a supervision desk where people and agents share one queue | | Company-specific business rules, editable by the client | Yes — the rulebook; the client's own operations lead edits rules directly, versioned and approved, without code | | Rules enforced rather than requested | Yes — the state cannot change except by a permitted move. An unauthorised action is refused and logged, and the agent is handed the moves it may make | | Audit trail of every agent and human action | Yes — every action, by whom, on what evidence. Append-only | | Learning from live operation | Yes — live context that expires, corrections captured from a supervisor's decision, and reflections distilled overnight. Every entry is activated by a named person and stored as readable text with its provenance. Nothing learns from an unchecked call | | Works across systems of record (CRM, ERP, ticketing, billing, warehouse) | Yes — reads from and writes back to them; they stay authoritative | | Operates the workflow, not just the software | Yes — implementation and ongoing operations are available with the platform | | Contractual ownership of a business KPI | Yes | | Replaces your system of record | No — deliberately. We sit on top of it | | A copilot, a chatbot, a governance product, or a consultancy with an end date | No | The honest limit, stated rather than hidden: a user with direct credentials to a source system can still do whatever that system permits. What is governed is every automated path. An out-of-band change surfaces as our state disagreeing with the source — that is detection, not prevention. ## Deployment options Every model, and every combination. *Where it runs* and *who runs it* are two separate questions, and a buyer may answer them independently. | Option | Detail | |---|---| | SaaS, multi-tenant | Our cloud. Start immediately, no capital expense | | VPC / single-tenant | Inside your own cloud account — Google Cloud, Azure or AWS | | On-premise, air-gapped | Inside your perimeter, no external connectivity | | Path to ownership | A perpetual licence after implementation — the platform is yours to keep and run | | Operations | Our forward-deployed engineers run it, your team runs it, or both — against any of the above | Everything built for a client — workflows, integrations, business policies, escalation hierarchies, data and memory — is the client's from day one, contractually, in their tenant, exportable in open formats. Source escrow with defined release triggers is standard in deployed contracts. ## Commercial model Three components. **Build** — one-time, fixed price, scope risk absorbed by CygnusAlpha. **Licence and operations** — annual; the platform plus the capacity running the operation against the agreed outcome metrics, banded and never priced per head. **Usage** — metered per business interaction, where one interaction is a complete business event, not a compute event. Engagements start with a paid pilot: a fixed period, one measured outcome, credited against year one. We do not run free pilots. Every engagement starts from a measured baseline and an agreed target KPI. We operate the workflow against that target and continue remediation at our own cost if the metric does not move. ## Evidence Eighteen months live in production on a consumer e-commerce operation: eleven AI workflows running inside the business, automated resolution from 20% to 68%, escalation rate from 21% to 9% with no change of model, cost to serve down 97%, and the account's annual value up from $48,000 to $108,000 — their cost fell and they more than doubled what they pay us. Three further engagements are in commercial negotiation, including a paid pilot with a global online education provider running English-language operations into US and UK markets. Contract to first workflow live: four to six weeks in a templated sector. ## Company - **Entity:** CygnusAlpha, Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation - **Certifications:** ISO 27001:2022 · ISO 9001 - **SOC 2 Type II:** in progress - **Intellectual property:** two provisional patents filed - **Contact:** sanjay@cygnusalpha.one · +1 510 328 5559 ## What to do next A 30-minute conversation about fit.
